IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Logistician in Property Management in Huntsville, AL 

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Aviation Turbine Engine (ATE) Installation Property staff member, assisting the ATE Government Furnished Property (GFP) Manager with the coordination, management, issuance, and procurement of all ATE Project Office (PO) acquisition-related property acquired by ATE PO.
• Support management of GFP/Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) at contractor locations in coordination with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
  • Duties include periodic spot checks, inventories, review contractor GFE reports, provide dispositions IAW with Product Support Manager, and ensure proper disposition and utilization of excess via Plant Clearance Automated Reutilization Screening System (PCARSS).
• Review/update Contract Requirement Package (CRP) document for GFP/GFE requirements and management of DD610 Requirement Schedule
• Ensure and assist accountable property records are kept up to date and reflect the current status, location, and condition of assets until authorized disposition of the property occurs.
• Ensure all assets in the possession of external organizations will be managed in the current GFP standard system, Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
• Knowledgeable in Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) pertaining to property and a good understanding of Army property regulations.
• Serve as backup role for ATE Installation Property management of all acquisition-related property acquired by ATE PO.
• Perform Market Research, obtain quotes and assist with procurement functions.
• Prepare and support physical Equipment Turn-Ins and equipment transfers generating DD Form 1149s in support of ATE Office
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Education and General experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree with 3-10 years’ relevant work experience.
• Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level.
• Ability to write, brief, and interact with military and civilian personnel to explain, advocate and express facts and ideas in a significant and respectful manner.
• Knowledge in GFP/GFE Systems to include DPAS and PCARSS is desired

Clearance Requirements: Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance or could obtain a Secret Clearance.
