Description:
We are looking for an Outside Sales Associate who will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic with a strong desire to provide superior Customer Service by working with internal partners to exceed client goals and expectations. They must be comfortable presenting in front of small groups, making and receiving calls, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Responsibilities :
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
  • Follow up with clients who call in to our office or are generated through our website.
  • Travel throughout your assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers, speak with clients on the sales floor or over the phone.
  • Display or demonstrate products, using samples or catalogs, and emphasize salable features.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and communicate price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates and service obligations to customers and contractors.
  • Create reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts.
  • Track inventory levels.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Enter sales data for new and current customers into our tracking database.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Assist in the collection of accounts receivable.
  • Attend custom builder meetings as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by location management.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of building materials industry and products.
  • Ability to negotiate prices and contractual agreements.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and local building codes and compliance requirements.
  • Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office Suite
