Overview : We are looking for a motivated, professional, and friendly individual to be an Imaging Assistant for our Mesa location. The Imaging Assistant will be responsible for preparing all CT/PET reports, importing them into the EMR and delivering to Physicians. Some experience is preferred but this is more of an entry-level position. This is a full-time position working a Monday - Friday schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Faxes reports to referring physicians.
• Initiates reminder calls for scheduled patients.
• Prepares folders from test scheduling.
• Answers phones and responds appropriately.
• Completes billing and history forms and tasks for NOPR.
• Transfer data to CDs.
• Brings patients from waiting room back to uptake rooms.
• Set ups, cleans uptake rooms for next patient.
• Keep track of supplies and prepares supply orders, as needed.
• Assists co-workers in any area to provide quality patient care.
• Prints schedules for following day.
• Provides support coverage for CT area, when needed.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Knowledge of Medical Office operations.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and Internet

Education and/or Experience :

• Experience working in an imaging setting preferred.
