Responsibilities
The Staffing Coordinator supports the nursing director in areas of acuity scheduling and staffing as well as other staffing office functions. Responsible for managing the coordination and pre-processing of all patient admissions and/or internal placement of patient admissions transfers.
Qualifications
Minimum:

• Working knowledge of nursing care delivery systems staffing levels medical terminology and associated patient needs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• HS diploma or equivalent combination of experience/education

Preferred:

• One (1) year as Staffing Coordinator or Admitting or patient placement in a hospital or health care related setting
• Typing speed of 45 wpm
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word Excel and Meditech Optilink or similar staffing program
