Sr. Security & Compliance Specialist (Hybrid)

We have an immediate need for a contract Sr. Security & Compliance Specialist to join a global mass media and entertainment conglomerate.

Location: Hybrid working 2-3 days onsite per week out of Burbank, CA strongly preferred, but open to candidates located in Seattle, WA or Orlando, FL.

This job expects to pay about $50 - 55 per hour plus benefits.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for auditing, managing projects, documenting data in smart sheets
• Facilitate remediation and report on control findings
• Facilitate remediation and report on vulnerabilities
• Track risk across the organization and drive remediation
• Produce regular risk reports for executive presentations
• Conduct in-depth research
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the program

What Gets You The Job:

• 2 years of IT security and/or IT compliance or IT technical support experience
• 2 years of IT Security or IT Compliance experience
• Vulnerability Management experience
• Experience with a blend of the following tools: Archer, Tenable, Splunk, Axonius
• 3 years of Program and Project Management experience
• Experience with Jira
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry requirements related to Information Security (i.e. EU Safe Harbor Directive, Payment Card Industry, Domestic and International Privacy regulations)
• Well versed with common security frameworks
• Experience with the management of security tools
• Analysis experience of security logs
• Experience with smart sheets desired
