We are seeking an experienced Cellular Operator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the working operating state of a large, closed-loop cellular telecommunications network, and the end devices connected to it. This work will be in support of US military training in and around the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, California.

Duties / Responsibilities

The candidate will provide activation, deactivation, operations, and understanding of end devices that attach to a cellular network, such as cell phones, hotspots, laptops, and wireless cards. The candidate will monitor and report hardware, software, and network services issues and failures utilizing hardware and software testing tools and techniques for cellular network and cellular end devices.

• Possess an active US Secret security clearance
• Minimum of five years working experience with cellular networks and end devices for cellular networks
• Possess skills, proficiency, and experience in cellular networks including the software, hardware, and operating systems of a cellular network
• Possess professional knowledge and experience including cellular network software, hardware, and operating systems of cellular network, including activation of the end devices for a closed loop network, operations, and understanding of the end devices
• Possess a thorough understanding of engineering practices sufficient to replace or repair faulty equipment; channel utilization, retune, and utilization of cellular frequency technologies
• Possess the technical knowledge to solve cellular network and end device problems
• Must be comfortable working in austere environments
