Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is Hiring a Collections Specialist Near Rochester, NY

Job Description:Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a detail-oriented, Collections Specialist for their Rochester location. Reporting to the Collections Manager, you will be responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable balances from existing clients. This will include both our residential and commercial divisions.
This position would be ideal for an organized, data-driven multi-tasker looking to support a growing team and advance their career in a growing organization. Experience in collections is a must!Summary:For over 75 years, Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning has worked diligently to meet the changing heating and air conditioning needs of homeowners and businesses in Upstate and Central New York. Isaac is one of the nation's largest privately held HVAC/R contractors and services over 35,000 clients a year. Isaac partners with leading HVAC and plumbing companies throughout the United States, providing the support and resources of a large national company.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for conducting self in accordance with our mission, vision, core values, and rank of priorities at all time
  • Coordinate the collection efforts of aged accounts receivable by notifying past-due clients
  • Responsible for making outbound collection calls
  • Maintain records of delinquent accounts and collected payments
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints
  • Refer unresolved debt accounts to an outside agency or attorney
  • Escalate client issues to appropriate departments to ensure timely collection of account
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting to direct supervisor
  • Responsible for performing other responsibilities/duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in accounting required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years high volume collections experience, preferred
  • Accounts receivable knowledge/experience preferred

The starting base salary range for this position is $21-$23hr. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
