You will be an employee owner, collaborating with architects, designers, engineers, project managers, and other employee owners who apply a nimble and forward-thinking approach when serving client needs.

Regardless of your office location, you will be working with team members across geographies. Although we invest heavily in technology to allow us to work from anywhere, travel still may be necessary at times for projects, training, or networking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Work directly with clients in all phases of design process – from the initial napkin sketch to opening the front door!
  • Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and criteria using judgment for minor adaptations and modifications
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, work plans, and contracts
  • Collaborate with other enthusiastic ISGers while leading design efforts to create inspiring and uplifting spaces to live, work, and play
  • Communicate project goals, objectives, design standards and procedures with project managers and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain the quality control of drawings and specifications
  • Direct the development and preparation of project contract documents
  • Get your boots dirty conducting site visits to observe construction progress and respond to any on-site challenges
  • Help mentor and develop the next generation of designers and architects
  • Willingness to think bigger, better, and bolder to make a difference in our communities!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10 years of professional design experience and licensed to practice architecture
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture program
  • Ability to communicate ideas empathetically and visually through both written and verbal media
  • Ability to represent ISG and clients in public forums
  • Familiarity in Revit, Adobe Suite and Sketchup computer software packages
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and participate with a variety of team members on different projects at varying levels of development
