Job : Plant Engineer
Location: Winchester, KY
Must-Haves:
Experience in running a manufacturing maintenance department.
Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience and a proven record in failure analysis.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of successful experience leading a plant maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environment and/or 5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of OSHA requirements related to in-house equipment.
Ability to identify gaps and implement countermeasures to achieve zero safety incidents.
Ability to lead and develop a highly collaborative and effective team.
Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Additional relevant qualifications as needed.
Responsibilities:
Report to the Plant Manager and be responsible for achieving the highest level of reliability for plant equipment.
Support the Sonoco Performance System (SPS), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and maintain strong ownership of the Maintenance Excellence process within the plant.
Work hours are 7 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with some weekend and after-hours on-call duties depending on plant needs.
Additional relevant responsibilities as needed.
Salary: 90-100k per year, plus a quarterly bonus of 12.5% of base salary
