POSITION TITLE: IT Support Associate

Position Summary: The duties listed below are representative and characteristic of the duties required. Summary Position's primary focus may be in the areas of computer operations, computer repair, wire, and cable installation, user and desktop support (hardware and software), helpdesk, and network maintenance. Performs a variety of complex information technology support duties to ensure the smooth delivery of technology services. Updates supervisor on the status of projects and technical issues.

Reports To: This position will report to the IT Administrator.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provides technical support in the use of computer hardware, software, and Chromebooks.
• Provides Technical support to Islamic foundation school staff and students.
• Set up and configure desktop computers, peripherals, and accounts assigning security levels.
• Manage live streaming and provide support for Islamic foundation events as needed.
• Installs software and installs and repairs hardware and peripherals.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures, and escalates to other technical resources as appropriate.
• Maintains and updates systems and manages user accounts.
• Designs and produces moderately complex reports.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintenance for computer equipment (e.g. computers, laptops. Chromebooks, VoIP phones, Monitors, and printers).
• Acts as a customer liaison for the computing operation, communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns.
• Assists with system upgrades and complex technical projects.
• Provide streaming support for the mosque.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in an IT support and systems maintenance.
• Experience in the set-up, configuration, and use of computer hardware, software, and networks.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical employees
• Self-motivated and willing to learn
• Quick analytic response to resolve issues in any situation.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
