Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Field Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site network support, troubleshooting issues, and installing workstations, servers, Wi-Fi, and other network equipment for our customers. This role requires a highly skilled and motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless technology operations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site network support and troubleshooting for clients.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, Wi-Fi, and other network equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on network systems.
• Ensure network security by implementing appropriate measures.
• Document all support activities and maintain accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Field Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with installation and maintenance of workstations, servers, Wi-Fi, and other network equipment.
• Familiarity with network security practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Education and Experience

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network , Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a network support role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
