Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Fuel Systems Inspector to join the $19.5 billion Redevelopment Program at JFK Airport. The Senior Fuel Systems Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, commissioning, and testing of hydrant fuel systems all throughout JFK Airport. This role requires strong technical expertise, inspection/management skills, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Schedule inspections, observation of field inspecting, testing, and commissioning of fuel systems.
- Responsible for maintaining and managing reports, daily narratives, quantities installed, classified logs and time and material tickets.
- Attend project progress meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
- Coordinate with Contractor and facility forces.
- Monitor Contractor compliance with the Contractor’s Safety and Health Plan and with specific safe work plans and ensures Contractor’s compliance with the approved Contractor’s Quality Plan.
- Prepare punch lists with the owner upon completion of the project.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- New York State Professional Engineering license is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a construction inspector dealing with the commissioning and testing of fuel systems.
- Prior PANYNJ and/or aviation experience.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
