Principal Function:

The Assistant Director of Modern Worship works with Minister of Music & Worship in the planning, administration, and execution of the Anchor Modern Worship service in order to deepen the worshiping and spiritual life of the church.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Work with the Minister of Music & Worship to plan weekly worship.
• Maintain the Anchor Band Schedule via Planning Center.
• Organize and distribute lead sheets and practice recordings weekly for band members.
• Create weekly worship slides and upload to ProPresenter (in conjunction with the Director of Communications).
• Assist with Anchor Band technology needs (including but not limited to In-Ear Monitors, Click Tracks, Multi-tracks, and Backing Vocals).
• Assist with Anchor Band Rehearsals Thursdays – 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Lead Sunday morning rehearsal/sound check Sound Check & Rehearsal – Sundays at 8:00 a.m.
• Serve as Worship Leader with the Anchor Band Sundays 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Team player; experience working collaboratively.
• Strong administrative and interpersonal skills
• Gifted instrumentalist and vocalist.
• Proficiency with various forms of media software.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $325.00 per week

Expected hours: 7 – 11 per week

Schedule:

• Weekends as needed
