Position Summary:

Responsible for coordinating, maintaining, reviewing, analyzing, and modifying the Isleta Resort and Casino’s Audio-Visual applications and system related hardware. Establishes user requirements to ensure reliability, availability, integrity, and security of the Resort AV operations. Coordinates with Marketing, Operations, and Hotel Conventions for AV services.

Isleta Resort and Casino Guest Service Agreement

All Team Members will display 100% commitment to World Class Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by the Isleta Resort and Casino.

• Working knowledge of AV Systems.
• Installs and maintains sound and video equipment including speakers, microphones, and projector screens.
• Maintains maintenance for property audio system and digital signage hardware throughout the property and off-site locations.
• Evaluates equipment needs and notifies IT Manager of the need to repair or replace, as well as contacting any relevant vendors to complete repairs if needed.
• Performs troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose AV System and application problems.
• Provides end users AV technical support.
• Maintains log of work completed for each organization/task.
• Maintains AV Systems change records.
• Must maintain the confidentiality of records and materials.
• Responsible for all maintenance as identified in the manufacturer/vendor recommendations including updates, patches, upgrades, and backup/recovery of system, applications, and data.
• Maintains proficiency in field of expertise by remaining knowledgeable and current with system’s hardware and software.
• Work closely with Hotel Sales and Marketing to provide and operate AV Services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Two-year degree in technical field or equivalent experience, required.
• Working knowledge of casino operations, preferred.
• Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification or related field certification, preferred.

Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certification:

• Must be able to acquire and maintain Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
• Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any days/hours as needed or required to meet business needs.
• Must maintain all Isleta Resort and Casino-wide educational and certification requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of AV Systems and related Hardware, IT concepts, principles, and practices; computer operations and user environments, Mac OS , Apple IOS, and Windows Desktop Operating Systems. .
• Knowledge of multiple system programs related to AV.
• Knowledge of NIGC MICS, POIGRA Regulations, departmental, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Must possess strong computer skills and be able to operate Microsoft applications and software.
• Must possess strong organizational and time management skills while paying close attention to details such as spelling, numbers, and grammar.
• Must possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity and respect for individuals.
• Must possess strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to possess and exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external guests at all times.
• Ability to take direction and feedback well.
• Ability to make accurate and sound decisions.
• Ability to accurately and successfully perform several tasks and meet deadlines under high levels of stress and with minimal supervision.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift, move, and place 25 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time

Working Conditions:

Work is generally performed in a Casino setting with possible exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level and Convention space, exposure to various lights and sounds and a high paced office setting; possibility of working outdoors in extreme weather conditions such as high levels of heat, cold, winds, rain, hail, and snow. Occasionally may be required to interact with hostile and/or angry guests.
