US Citizenship and a Department of Defense Security Clearance is REQUIRED for this position.Your Mission:
- Strategize and execute comprehensive management plans, ensuring milestones are met with precision, budgets are adhered to, and output resonates with the highest quality standards.
- Navigate the project lifecycle with a collaborative spirit, steering a talented cross-functional team from conception through to fruition.
- Masterfully manage project timelines, allocate resources efficiently, and proactively mitigate risks.
- Align the project’s trajectory with overarching business goals, injecting agility into our strategy to adapt to the evolving landscape.
- Spearhead change management initiatives, turning potential disruptions into opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Forge robust relationships with a network of key stakeholders, from clients and suppliers to influential governmental bodies, ensuring their needs are not just met but anticipated.
- Craft and convey compelling reports that provide insightful updates on program status, tackle challenges head-on, and celebrate the milestones achieved.
- Advocate for transparency and accountability in managing the initiative’s finances, ensuring every dollar is spent judiciously.
- A robust academic background with a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, validating your expertise.
- A proven track record with at least 8 years of experience leading significant projects in defense, aerospace, or technology sectors.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a knack for resolving conflicts and managing diverse teams to drive performance.
- Outstanding communication prowess, organizational acumen, and negotiation strategies.
- Proficiency in leveraging the latest project management tools, methodologies, and best practices to achieve stellar results.
- Familiarity with government contracting environments and standards set by NAVSEA, NAVWAR, and similar entities.
- An active security clearance, enabling immediate contribution to classified projects.
