Job Description:
Containerizing code, working in a could environment, web development, and task automation are the main tasks you will face. You will be using containers to expedite development and maintenance of systems in a wide variety of ways. This position will support the implementation of containers in a cloud environment. This will require defining, testing, and implementation. This position will provide a workable solution to utilize the benefits of the container environment within the customers current requirement structure. You should have excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques. You’ll also need the ability to coordinate people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes) with your mind set on deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deploy and maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture.
• Implement automation, effective monitoring and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Work alongside a cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies
• Secure, scale, and manage Linux virtual environments.
Requirements:
• Ability to obtain and keep a Security Clearance.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with Cloud Services such as AWS, Azure, Google cloud.
• Experience in containerization and applying these skills to unique challenges.
• Be able to troubleshoot software installation problems independently with a can-do attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field plus 3 yrs. Experience
• Security Plus certification (within 6 months after start date)
Nice to have:
• Systems level programming experience. Such as:
o GPU programming
o Kernel patching
o C#, C, C , Python
o Kubernetes
o Java algorithm development
• Experience building and deploying containers.
• Experience with Linux Security.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google cloud.
• Experience with GPU running in containers.
• Understanding of overall BMDS infrastructure.
• Understanding of C4I systems.
