Description **Duties & Responsibilities****:**
- Ensures all beverage and paper products are appropriately stocked.
- Ensures that bar area is supplied with menu items.
- Properly washes all bar dishes used during assigned shift.
- Consistently keeps bar area clean. Cleans top of bar and polishes stainless steel on a regular basis. Always maintains departments safety/sanitation standards.
- Maintains complete knowledge of locations of all required items (bagels-cafeteria, drink mixers-warehouse). Retrieves required items as needed.
- Leaves area clean and stocked before going on break and prior to shift end.
- Completes assigned side work.
- Always sorts and separates recyclable and deposit bottles. Places all recyclable items in proper crates.
- Always immediately notifies Supervisor of any broken equipment or problems with the bar areas or storage rooms.
- Consistently maintains an awareness of promotional events and shows.
- Always enters drink orders into the P.O.S. system in an organized and accurate method.
- Prepares drinks in a timely manner and prepares beverages to be presentable and photo ready.
- Has extensive knowledge in wine and spirits.
- Always follows department training standards. (i.e.: clean-as-you-go, re-check guest, etc.).
- Puts coffee cups through de-limer.
**Minimum Qualifications****:**
- Must possess the ability to count money and make correct change.
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to ring in orders and settle checks on Point of Sale system.
- Previous Food & Beverage Bartending experience a plus.
- Previous alcohol beverage service preferred.
