JOB SUMMARY:
Provides general administrative and payroll support in the Human Resources department. Payroll support includes processing of employee changes, inputting and auditing of payroll, research, and reporting. Administrative duties include typing, filing, printing, report preparation, file maintenance, distribution of departmental mail, and appointment scheduling. Assists with Corporate Operations and serves as back-up for mail room.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides administrative support for department, to include: photocopying, scanning, typing, filing, printing, producing scheduled and ad-hoc reports, maintaining all departmental files and folders, and assisting in creating Human Resources presentations and typed materials. Assignments may include position descriptions, policies and procedures, digitizing employee and retirement files, and headcount summaries. Creates new hire files and termination documents.
2. Provides payroll support. Processes employment changes and other payroll related documents, inputs and audits payroll changes, and provides research and ad-hoc reports. Gathers data, creates and maintains files, and assists with paycheck distribution as necessary. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and company policies.
3. Assists with Corporate Operations matters and vendor scheduling. Assists with the Corporate Operations budget by processing weekly invoices for approval and investigating discrepancies follows up with Accounting and/or vendors to resolve issues. Assists with the Safety function, which includes maintaining the evacuation seating chart plan, and CPR and other safety training records.
4. Serves as a back-up to the corporate mail room when needed.
5. Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
· High school diploma or G.E.D.
· Minimum one year of experience providing administrative support in an office environment

PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
The employee must be able to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer. This is primarily a sedentary position in a controlled office environment which requires only occasional reaching, stooping, and lifting of office files, reports or records, typically weighing 15 lbs. or less.
Pay scale for this position is between $45,662 to $54,794. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
**This is a long-term contract role, which may convert to permanent in the future.
