(ITC) is seeking an experienced Responsibilities: * Database Design and Architecture * Design and implement database structures that meet business requirements. * Develop data models and database schemas. * Optimize database design for performance, scalability, and reliability. * Database Development * Write and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts. * Develop stored procedures, functions, and triggers. * Implement data integration and ETL processes. * Database Management and Maintenance * Install, configure, and upgrade database management systems (DBMS). * Monitor and maintain database performance, including tuning and optimization. * Perform regular backups and recovery procedures. * Data Security and Integrity * Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data. * Ensure data integrity and consistency across databases. * Monitor and manage database access and permissions. * Troubleshooting and Support * Diagnose and resolve database-related issues and errors. * Provide support for database-related queries and incidents. * Work closely with development and IT teams to resolve issues. * Documentation and Reporting * Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database structures, processes, and protocols. * Generate reports and data visualizations as needed. * Document troubleshooting procedures and resolutions. * Collaboration and Communication * Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs. * Communicate database-related updates, issues, and improvements to relevant teams. * Participate in project planning and implementation meetings. * Continuous Improvement * Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends. * Recommend and implement improvements to existing database systems. * Participate in database performance tuning and optimization initiatives. * Compliance and Standards * Ensure databases comply with industry standards and regulations. * Implement and enforce database policies and procedures. * Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and best practices. Location: Washington, DC Requirements * Experience using Microsoft Office suite applications * Experience using Oracle RDBMS * Experience using postgreSQL RDBMS * Ability to create and run PowerShell applications * Experience in Windows/Linux Administration * Experience using Tomcat and JBoss Servers * Bachelor's Degree in Technical or Scientific field and 4 years o experience or High School Diploma/GED and 8 years or Associates Degree and 6 years or Master's with 2 years of experience. * DoD 8570 compliant certification Clearance requirements: * TS/SCI with the ability to obtain CI Poly
