Job Title: Enterprise Azure Architect

Dallas TX - Remote - ONLY USC AND GC WORKS

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Azure Architect to join our team. This role requires deep expertise in architecting and implementing complex Azure-based solutions for enterprise-level projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading the design and deployment of Azure solutions, implementing automation and infrastructure-as-code practices, and possessing expert-level knowledge of cloud computing concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of complex Azure-based solutions for enterprise-level projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and architectural best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and efficient Azure architectures.
• Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps pipelines to streamline deployment and management of Azure resources.
• Architect solutions that leverage Azure services across Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings to meet business needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Conduct architectural reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting as needed to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of Azure solutions.
• Stay current with Azure platform updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve architectural designs and practices.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a role as an Enterprise Azure Architect, with a demonstrated track record of leading the design and implementation of complex Azure-based solutions on previous projects.
• Strong proficiency in implementing automation and infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps pipelines. Provide examples of previous projects where these practices were applied.
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Deep understanding of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, and Azure Active Directory.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
