Digital Product Manager to join their team. This is a 6 month contract role with potential to extend. They are ideally looking for someone to go onsite to their office in Greater Boston, but they're also open to remote candidates working EST hours. An integral member of our growing Design & Digital Strategy group, the Senior Digital Product Manager is a key contributor for developing & managing digital solutions in our current portfolio, as well as helping identify opportunities to grow & scale our overall digital ecosystem. Essential Job Responsibilities & Duties Include
Manage the product roadmap and backlog for existing digital products and other team
priorities, leading ongoing backlog grooming, sprint planning & bi-weekly/monthly releases
Oversee and manage requirements gathering, solution design, user story writing,
feature development, backlog prioritization and user acceptance testing
Partner with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams regularly to ensure alignment
on feature development and prioritization, including oversight of third-party partners to ensure every sprint delivers on planned objectives
Routinely apprise executive management of planned execution & prioritization of key
features in the product roadmap
Continually monitor and evaluate product performance to ensure constant iteration and
optimization
Help oversee the effort of managing, storing, processing and analyzing large data sets to
identify business opportunities & areas requiring optimization
Work with Design team & Commercial leadership to develop product positioning and
messaging that ensures strategic differentiation from competitors
Contribute to driving the creation of an internal culture centered around user-centric
design principles, best practices, standards, processes, and tooling
Ability to craft a product vision (short to long term) and convert that into a concrete
strategy
Evaluate, analyze, and understand the voice of the customer through a variety of data
sources Job Requirements & Qualifications
8 years of professional experience in a digital product management or business analyst
role
A strong and practiced user-first mindset, whether the user is an existing employee or
an external customer, and an expert ability to translate user needs into achievable solutions that while also deliver on core business objectives
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills as you work with many
different stakeholders and teams to balance competing priorities, resolve conflicting requirements, and ultimately deliver on all user & business goals
Demonstrable passion for building great products and solving customer and business
problems
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems (or related field)
or equivalent professional work experience
Proficient understanding of back end and front end programming languages, and the
ability to identify integration opportunities for data sources that can augment our digital product experience
