Job Summary:
A Home Health Aide (HHA) provides essential personal care and health-related services to patients in their homes, helping them maintain their health and independence under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Certification: State certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA).
- Experience: Previous experience in home healthcare preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Capacity to handle emotional and physical demands of the job.
Work Environment:
- Work primarily in clients' homes.
