IT’S A SWEET LIFE is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our bakery team. We are an upscale bakeshop and cake design studio that specializes in high-end wedding cakes and specialty cakes. Applicants must be able to work independently, on a time schedule, follow instructions closely, and have excellent customer service skills. We are looking for a clean, hard-working, team oriented but self motivated and enthusiastic person that has a passion for baking and decorating Cupcakes, and a vast array of other desserts.

Candidates must know different baking techniques, able to read and understand different recipes, good time management, able to multitask, and control inventory and waste.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce the needed quantity of products we offer on a time schedule: cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and cake-pops
• Bake High Quality Products with consistent outcomes
• Able to make buttercreams and keep them stocked for decorators
• Make Cookie Doughs, Sugar Cookies, Cutouts should be neat and clean
• Keep Store clean and organized
• Detail Oriented
• Able to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Dependable and responsible, mature professional with excellent work ethic.
• Reliable transportation a must.
• Wedding cake delivery and set up assistance will be required on the weekends.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment at all times in accordance with health department standards
• Must be able to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
• Maintain inventory
• Must have fantastic customer service skills and be ready to answer phones and take orders, and schedule consultation appointments when needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
