Job Description:

As a VoIP Technician & Project Manager, you'll play the crucial role in transitioning legacy phone systems to our upgraded hosted UCaaS VoIP solutions. In this position, you will manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and exceptional service delivery. We seek individuals ready to bridge the communication gap for our customers, providing them with cutting-edge technology and making a significant impact on their business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our existing clients to proactively provide them with a free upgrade to our hosted UCaaS VoIP solutions.
• Transition clients from their current phone solution to our newly hosted solution, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
• Handle the backend admin work for the transition.
• Serve as the Project Manager AND Technician for the project and work with other team members as necessary.
• Work with procurement to source all needed products.
• Build a customer domain in our hosted UCaaS solution and assist in the implementation and installation of equipment, including on-site work. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and climb ladders to complete the installation work.
• Provide follow-up support after the conversion to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Set and meet conversion benchmarks.
• Be proactive, engaging, and ready to take on new tasks at a moment's notice.
• Wear both the project manager's hat and the technician's tool belt!

Requirements:

• Experience handling projects and system conversions.
• Extensive knowledge of hosted VoIP/UCaaS solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate these technologies to customers.
• Ensure paperwork and documentation are in order and meet IT Voice policies and procedures.
• Be directly involved and/or hands-on with clients in both the customer service and technical arenas.

• This position can provide multiple career growth options within IT Voice, depending on the candidate’s expertise and skill set after completion.
• Most work will be performed during normal business hours. However, the candidate may need to work nights and weekends to limit disruptions to our customer’s business.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000
