We have collaborated with a unique brand in Birmingham to add a Compliance Director Assistant to their team. The position will assist the Compliance Director in ensuring compliance with import regulations; assisting the Operations Director with inventory management, and supporting the Operations.
This is a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).

What you'll be doing (duties of this position):

• Responsibilities are related to Compliance, Inventory Management, and Operations Support.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State import regulations and documentation requirements.
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and certifications.
• Stay updated on import law and regulation changes to ensure company compliance.
• Work with the inventory team to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.
• Assist with order processing, shipment tracking, and logistics coordination.
• Work with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Support the operations manager in various administrative tasks.

What you'll need to be considered (requirements):

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Compliance or a related field.
• 2 years of compliance-related support within the beverage or alcohol industry
• Experience in Data and Analytics
• MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PPT.

What could set you apart:

• Knowledge of import regulations and compliance is a plus.
• Bilingual: French, Spanish, German, or Italian is a plus.
