Compensation: $70 – 85K/year opportunity for annual bonuses.
What you’ll be doing:
- Handle intricate internal and external financial data adhering to accounting rules, regulations, and tax laws in a controlled setting.
- Prepare income tax accruals, adjustments, and forecasts.
- Compile federal and state income tax filings.
- Craft STAT and GAAP tax notes for financial reports.
- Analyze IRC for tax return preparation.
- Flexibility for occasional overtime and weekend work.
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or related is required.
- 3 years of similar work experience in Corporate Tax.
- Strong Excel is required. (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SAP (Statutory Accounting Principles)
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- CPA certification.
- Public Accounting and/or Insurance Accounting exp.
- Experience with PeopleSoft ERP.
