- Dust furniture
- Wash windows, walls, woodwork and lavatories
- Sweep, wash, mop and scrub floors using cleaning equipment
- Gather and dispose of refuse
- Clean and polish furniture and brass.
- Some knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
