ITW EAE is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Near Lakeville, MN
Job DescriptionThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
DUTIES: Must understand the importance of safety. Performs custodial duties. Performs routine maintenance tasks; i.e., simple equipment and system repairs with minimal written or verbal instructions. Perform production work as required.
TOOLS: Must be able to use basic hand tools and portable power tools, power sweeper/scrubber, manlift, and forklift.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTs:
- Good communication skills: reading and writing are required.
- Must be physically suited to perform all assigned tasks within this classification.
- Must be able to read and understand repair manuals and basic wiring diagrams.
- Must be able to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
- Must be able to secure and maintain a forklift license.
- Must be able to identify and requisition replacement parts requirements.
- Must have combined six months relevant experience in basic mechanical or electrical skills.
- High School diploma or GED required
- Facilities maintenance knowledge desired
- Prior experience in maintenance of manufacturing environment is preferred
