Job Description
A Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse who is responsible for delivery of patient care, along with organizational skills and time management. The nurse must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the care of his/her patients, working in a patient home environment and be able to assist full-time staff when needed. The scope of practice focuses on injectable and intravenous drug therapy delivery. The nurse will be able to perform duties consistent with his/her scope of practice and function within the overall plan of care delivery. The nurse must have the capacity to foster a positive work environment, be professional and display positive support of the organization. The nurse must provide safe and appropriate patient care. The nurse must also display appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. The nurse should be able to communicate positively and professionally with all internal and external customers, and maintain patient confidentiality.
Job Requirements
*Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
*Licensed nurse with active, unrestricted Georgia license
*Experience: minimum of 2 years, preferably with ICU/critical care background
*Experience with injectable and intravenous therapies required
*Current CPR certification required
*Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of Georgia
*Must have reliable transportation, with valid car insurance coverage. Job requires day travel to the surrounding areas.
