Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing tissue samples in a clinical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities:

- Perform histological procedures including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Prepare reagents and solutions used in histological procedures
- Ensure quality control and assurance measures are met
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed and results obtained
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Experience:

- Experience with phlebotomy techniques
- Proficiency in patient care practices
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and techniques
- Understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Previous work in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred
- Ability to perform tasks using aseptic techniques
