The Clinical Pharmacist is a healthcare professional who will work collaboratively within a team to help collect and analyze healthcare data, and coordinate care for patients. In a unique tele-health, campus clinic, the pharmacist will be responsible for assisting patients with their health care needs, counseling, and providing disease state and medication education, and providing excellent customer service. The clinical pharmacist will also be expected to communicate and collaborate with providers regarding medication recommendations. Frequent, independent and guideline-driven medication recommendations are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.
Unique to this role will be the collaboration with our university partner, Saint Joseph’s University – Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. In this role, the clinical pharmacist, who will have an adjunct faculty appointment, will use the unique practice setting to precept student pharmacists. In addition, the pharmacist will have the opportunity to participate in various small and large group teaching activities.
The ideal candidate for this role is highly motivated and flexible to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment. This position combines advanced patient care activities and student teaching into one exciting role. Candidates must feel comfortable using different electronic health records and data collection systems. This is a high-impact role that will help assist with patient management, growth of clinical services, and innovative teaching for student pharmacists.

The Location: Training will be completed this summer at our Ivira Health headquarters in Wilmington, DE, with days of training at Saint Joseph’s University – Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (University City). When students are on rotation, the pharmacist will practice at the new Ivira Health Community Pharmacy Learning center on the campus of Saint Joseph’s University Philadelphia College of Pharmacy (University City).
