Job DescriptionIvybrook Academy is currently seeking passionate Discovery Classroom Teacher for our school campus. Our schools provide a professional environment where educators can focus their time on igniting the joy of learning in their students. We are seeking passionate educators committed to progressive quality education. This is a fun position that teaches the following: Spanish, Creative Expression, Author Studies and Music and Movement.

Benefits:
- School year closely follows the Douglas County School District calendar
- 5 weeks paid vacation per year (6-weeks depending on school calendar)
- 8:00am - 12:30pm work hours (part-time) This position will start part-time and transition to full-time once maximum enrollment is reached for morning sessions and afternoon sessions begin.
- Possible after hours or weekend marketing or school events
- Supportive and professional work environment
- Plan and implement daily lessons for the children following a progressive approach to education
- Observe and evaluate each child’s progress
- Work cooperatively and professionally with staff members and parents
- Maintain communication with parents
- Be available to assist in other classrooms as needed
- Attend staff meetings, training and school functions
- Maintain portfolio assessments for all children in the classroom
- Commit to continuing education
- Must meet the Early Childhood teacher reqiurements and be Lead Teacher Qualified
