IvyMax is actively searching for committed writing experts to join our team as High School Essay Editors. As an Essay Editor, you will be integral in elevating essays and theses, while providing mentorship and guidance to high school students to refine their academic writing. This position offers flexible working hours and the potential for a transition to a long-term full-time contract.

Responsibilities:

-Edit and refine essays, theses, and other academic papers to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to proper grammar and punctuation.

- Offer constructive feedback to high school students, aiding them in honing their writing skills and effectively developing their ideas.

- Mentor students throughout the writing process, from brainstorming and outlining to drafting and revising their essays.

- Proofread and edit college application essays, master's and PhD theses, and other Statement of Purposes.

- Collaborate with the team to maintain rigorous editing standards and ensure timely delivery of edited essays.

- Cultivate familiarity with diverse subject areas and exhibit a passion for learning across various fields of study.

- Utilize Microsoft Word and other essential software tools proficiently, including WeChat (Mobile and Desktop).

Requirements:

- Exceptional proficiency in English.

- Bachelor's degree from a Top English-language University in the US; preference given to Master's and PhD candidates.

- Previous experience as an academic essay editor.

- Availability to work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week.

- Strong research skills and a keen interest in various subject areas.

- Flexibility, reliability, and accessibility.

- Willingness to proofread entire college applications, master's and PhD theses, and other Statement of Purposes.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other essential software tools, including WeChat (Mobile and Desktop).
