The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee expense reports. This role involves verifying expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining detailed records for financial audits. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, be adept at handling employee expense queries, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, have the ability to work autonomously, and be proactive and solution-oriented in resolving discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and organize receipts to facilitate the creation of comprehensive expense reports.
• Generate accurate and detailed expense reports from the compiled documentation.
• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure transactions comply with company policies and procedures.
• Match receipts to their corresponding expense report entries.
• Reconcile expense reports with credit card statements and other financial records.
• Address and resolve discrepancies by communicating effectively with employees.
• Maintain well-organized records of all processed expense reports for audit purposes.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Proven experience in expense report processing or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
