The Claims Support Coordinator is responsible for either validating and verifying claim information, or the prior authorization of active claims.The Claims Support Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the prescriptions are processed accurately and in a timely manner to meet our internal SLAs. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Ensure accuracy on patient and claim detail in core system prior to invoices being generated
Contacts insurance carriers to confirm and obtain information in a timely fashion
Investigates claims to obtain missing claim data
Documents all communication with insurance carriers, physicians, law firms and patients in the approved format
Consistent awareness and comprehension of policy/procedure changes
Communicates effectively and articulates ideas verbally and in writing
Accountable for actions and decisions demonstrated in daily tasks
Is working towards achieving the expected goals for the role
Is focused on the quality and accuracy of their respected focus area
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
1-2 years in a supportive office role
NO IWP experience is needed in this role
Excellent customer service skills
Independent problem solver
Detail oriented
Modern office procedures and methods including computer equipment and supporting applications
