WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

* Write clear, engaging K-12 science questions and explanations for IXL.com #LI-HYBRID

* Design engaging K-8 science worksheets for Education.com

* Ensure questions and explanations are scientifically correct

* Collaborate with illustrators, graphic designers, and other curriculum designers to deliver high-quality science content

* Research and review IXL's alignment to educational standards, common assessments, and popular textbooks

* Oversee the localization of IXL's U.S. science content for other countries

* Write alt text for visually-impaired learners

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* Bachelor's in a scientific field required

* K-12 science teaching or tutoring experience

* Ability to work across multiple scientific disciplines such as life science, earth science, physical science, and engineering

* Excellent writing ability

* Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills

* Can-do attitude with an openness to others' ideas

* Highly self-motivated and efficient with superb attention to detail
