General Summary

The Sales Financial Analyst is responsible for providing sales analytics and ad-hoc support to sales team, finance team, and customers. This role requires an individual who is comfortable collaborating across teams, working with large amounts of data, and converting data into a simple format for key decision-makers to process.

Essential Functions

• Manage ongoing sales reporting for multiple levels of the company, including the executive group.
• Track performance versus forecast assumptions and support identification of adjustments based on known factors.
• Support Sales Teams with sales analytics, key performance indicator (KPI) tracking, and business management fundamentals.
• Development and update of sales presentations for customer meetings.
• In conjunction with the Sales team, this individual will assist in the analysis and evaluation of product pricing, this will include ensuring timely updating of the monthly price lists and all associated master data.
• Generate pricing reports/analytics/tools to monitor, control and/or improve pricing policies and profitability (includes but is not limited to pricing KPIs, price erosion, quote conversion & quote compliance).
• Coordinate and manage monthly customer/item profitability review.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on key initiatives and projects.
• Analyze offsets to revenues to maximize customer profitability.
• Analyze promotional activity against customer growth to evaluate spend.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements – Must meet position requirements to apply.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in analytical roles (statistical analysis, business analysis, data analysis, data reporting). Strongly preferred in manufacturing (food/beverages) or other consumer goods.
• Successful track record working with an ERP system.
• Working knowledge of gross margin, retailer margin, financial models/pricing instruments, and costing.
• Must be able to manage deliverables and complete projects and tasks on time.
• Able to take on complex problems, break them down into smaller parts, and propose a solution.
• Strong cross-functional business acumen and expertise.
• Excellent data manipulation and analysis skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Office required (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to think creatively and outside of the box.
• Self-starter and fast learner.
• Maintain regular, consistent attendance & punctuality. Must have a flexible schedule.

Reports to: Director of Finance

Location: On-site – Louisville CO - Local candidates preferred. This position will not offer any relocation benefits. Not a remote position.

Compensation is based on level of experience, other relevant experience, and requirements of the position. The range provided serves only as a guideline and does not automatically qualify all candidates (internal or external) for the high end of the range.
