AP/CP Pathologist- VMAC Pittsburg Healthcare System is currently seeking a backfill- for an AP/CP Pathologist. The Pathologist needs to be able to handle anatomic pathology cases including frozen sections, biopsies and resection cases including but not limited to GI, GU, lung, head & neck pathology sign-out. Cytology sign-out including both gyn and FNA biopsies (including on-site evaluations) is needed. Oversight over clinical labs including blood bank calls is needed. No need for hemepath, neuropath or dermpath sign-out. There is no requirement to do grossing or autopsies. Anticipated volume 3000 cases per year. coverage in general surgical pathology/cytology and clinical pathology which includes bloodbank/transfusion, hematology and chemistry. We do not need coverage for hematopathlogy, neuropathology or dermatopathology. Note: Will not accept board eligible for a locums position, No need for DEA certificate required.
