How you will contribute:

As a Design Project Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to our Fire Protection Design Team and Sales Team by utilizing a variety of computer programs to create projects and attach sprinkler plans & specifications of the projects. You will utilize strong attention to detail by creating foreman packets for the field with installation details. You track the design and project coordinator hours per job. You will participate in job scope meetings and weekly progress meetings capturing important information to ensure parties complete tasks in adherence to the due dates. Ensure paperwork is submitted to AHJ’s, track the paperwork, and issue O&M manuals to our customers. You will be responsible for coordinating various meetings. This is an exciting opportunity to be very instrumental in the successful execution of our regional sprinkler construction projects.

What you need to qualify:

The ideal candidate should bring to Ahern a completed Associate's degree in an administrative program and three to five years of administrative support type experience, preferably within the construction industry. Those that will excel as a Design Project Coordinator will have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. Being proficient in Microsoft Office 2007 and technically inclined to learn industry-specific software will be essential. If you are ready to demonstrate this expertise, Ahern wants you!
