Position details:

• Part-time (20 hours per week)

Scope:

JGMS Government Services is looking for a temporary, part-time Librarian to support a six-month contract.

Job Duties:

• Help with the enhancement of records in the Publishing Tracker.

• Add author names to records, research publication records to find correct authors, editing and cleanup of other database fields as required.

• Provides general reference services and assists customers in navigating and using the library’s range of services, during scheduled shifts at customer service points.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: HS (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of relevant experience (librarian, clerk, administrative, etc.).

Required Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:

• Understanding of bibliographic records, ability to search and find records in various professional databases, ability to accurately interpret and edit existing records.
