Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team of pet sitters/ dog walkers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess relevant experience in veterinary practices and pet sitting.

Responsibilities:
- Handle and restrain animals for treatment
- Provide basic animal care including feeding, grooming, and exercising
- Administer medications as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals

Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of veterinary practices and procedures
- Proficiency in animal husbandry and care
- Ability to handle animal restraint with care and compassion
- Familiarity with dog training techniques
- Previous experience in pet sitting or dog handling
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques for maintaining cleanliness
- Equine knowledge is desirable

Pay: $30.00 - $300.00 per week

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
