Position: Business Analyst (Data Governance)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (100% REMOTE)
Summary:
- Paradigm Technology is seeking a Data Governance Business Analyst to join our team and support Data Governance Initiatives
- The Data Governance Business Analyst will work closely with business units and IT teams to ensure data integrity and compliance
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Analytics
- Must have experience with Data Retention and Purging processes
- Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sectors is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Data Governance policies and procedures
- Collaborate with Data Owners and stakeholders across the organization to ensure data quality, integrity, and security
- Work with the Legal team to ensure Data Governance practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements
- Oversee Data Retention and Purging processes, ensuring they are executed in accordance with organizational policies
- Utilize Solix for scheduling and managing Data Governance tasks
- Gather, review, and document requirements as needed
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Analytics
- Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Must have experience with Data Retention and Purging processes
- Experience working with Legal and Regulatory requirements related to Data Governance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including Data Owners and Legal teams
- Experience with gathering, reviewing, and documenting requirements on projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with Data Governance tools, like Solix, Collibra, Informatica, or Ataccama, is preferred
- Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sectors is preferred
