Your responsibilities will include:

• Reconciliation Mastery: Prepare detailed cash, position, and market value reconciliations between our firm’s records and those of our counterparties for various funds and separately managed accounts.
• Problem-Solving Pro: Investigate sources of reconciliation discrepancies, collaborating with Fund Accounting and Operations teams and counterparty contacts to resolve issues promptly.
• Precision in Accounting: Maintain accurate in-house accounting records for separately managed accounts and perform monthly net asset value calculations.
• Cash Management: Monitor cash and margin balances, ensuring timely wire transfers as needed.
• Invoice Preparation: Handle requests for invoice payments and compile supporting schedules.
• Project Involvement: Engage in ad-hoc projects that contribute to the efficiency and success of our operations.

Requirements

• Educational Background: An undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience Preferred: Ideally, 1 year of experience in fund accounting with portfolio reconciliation, though not mandatory.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
