Description
Position Summary:
Home Every Night: There are no overnights or on-the-road jobs; you will be home every night.
Will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, moving products within the campus using a yard dog, tractor-trailer, or equivalent equipment, and assisting in the warehouse as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently load and unload products from trailers, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. Transports loads, finishing goods, supplies, and raw materials from the Plastics Plant to the Metals Warehouse and vice versa.
• Safely operate a yard dog or similar equipment to transport trailers and products between buildings on the work campus.
• Ensure timely and accurate movement of products to designated locations within the campus.
• Assist with various warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assists with moving product to be shipped or stored to proper areas with power forklift truck or manually,
• Assists with maintaining storage areas, records and material and items received and location of items.
• Responsible for some hazardous waste management such as moving drums, labeling containers, etc. Responsible for Responsible for receiving, shipping and unloading materials and, upon receipt of leading instructions, loads finished goods as per instructions from lead person or dispatcher.

Qualifications
Qualifications, Training & Experience:

• CDL A License: Must possess a valid CDL A license, maintain the certification and ability to pass a physical.
• Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is required.
• Forklift Experience: Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and assist colleagues as needed.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
