A Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance procedures and helps troubleshoot and quickly repair any equipment issues within operations, supporting vehicles, equipment, and systems in the facility. Their day-to-day tasks can vary greatly based on what needs attention at the time. The Maintenance Technician reports to the COO and performs duties and responsibilities as listed below. This is an hourly part-time position with a minimum of and typically 24 hours a week.

• Know, understand, and follow applicable information outlined in the J&L Quality Manual and J&L Employee Handbook.
• Coordinate, maintain, and collaborate on the development of departmental procedures to ensure maintenance systems are current and updated to evolving industry standards.
• Follow all safety measures including wearing appropriate PPE in designated areas.
• Preventative maintenance tasks to try to minimize unexpected issues with equipment.
• Responding to work orders; carrying out corrective procedures and repairs in line with SOPs and maintenance procedure.
• Clear documentation of both routine checks and repairs needed, in line with both internal and external protocols and procedures.
• Communication with vendors regarding the purchase, installation, or maintenance of equipment.
• Training of production staff of routine maintenance procedures.
• Maintain OSHA certification in forklift/scissor lift or other equipment and other safety standards as required
• Collaborate with Human Resources and/or Operations to schedule and provide in-house forklift, scissor lift, or other safety certifications as needed for employees
• Perform other duties as required.

• 5 years experience in industrial or similar maintenance experience a plus
