Company Description

Small local insurance company seeking licensed property and causality agents.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Insurance Agent at J. L. Williams Insurance Agency located in Raleigh, NC. The Insurance Agent will be responsible for generating new business via leads provided by the agency, following up with existing clients, prospecting, and participating in networking events. The Insurance Agent will need to satisfy customer's needs by closing the deals and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Insurance Sales is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service.
  • Ability to work independently while following guidelines and meeting goals.
  • Possession of a valid insurance license is preferred but not required. Must obtain licensing within six months of hire date.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Basic computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
