Job Duties
- Manage projects and programs as assigned.
- Manage staff and support their professional development and growth.
- Work with employees, senior leadership, and client stakeholders to meet program goals and deliverables.
- Track program progress, mitigate risks, and implement solutions to ensure project(s) stays within scope and budget.
- Organize and manage daily activities based on program goals and client expectations.
- Work with management team to achieve corporate goals and initiatives, leading efforts as requested.
- Support corporate growth by participating in business development efforts.
What the successful candidate will bring
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of directly related experience.
- PMP Certification.
- Ability to interact with other contractors and coordinate and sequence work to avoid duplication and waste of resources.
- Outstanding people management skills; ability to mentor and grow staff.
- Experience proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to organize work through means such as PMP (Project Management Plan), PXP (Project Execution Plan), GANNT charts (or equivalent), or other management tools.
- Specialized program expertise, for example, public health, emergency management, engineering, data analytics, and grants management.
