We are professional, agile, professional and our goal is to J Morgan's Steakhouse is a historic dining destination located in the Capital Plaza Hotel in the heart of Montpelier, Vermont. J Morgans offers a unique blend of culinary excellence, a craft bar experience and warm memorable hospitality. AM Server J. Morgan's Steakhouse

**Job Summary:**

Join our team at J. Morgan's Steakhouse as an AM Server and be part of a dynamic and customer-focused environment. We are seeking individuals with a passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. If you have experience in the restaurant industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced breakfast setting we invite you to apply.

**Duties:**

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide recommendations when needed

- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring accuracy in orders

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and workstations

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently

- Uphold food safety standards and regulations at all times

-Uphold the Hilton Brand standards

**Skills:**

- Proficiency with POS system preferred

- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items

- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills

- Knowledge of food service protocols including food handling and preparation

- Excellent time management to prioritize tasks effectively

- Familiarity with restaurant operations and OpenTable reservation system

- Hospitality-driven mindset with a focus on delivering top-notch service

- DLC Training Completed and up to date
