SummarySimplot Grower Solutions is looking to fill a seasonal Truck Driver/Warehouse position. Full-time, temporary, position with full benefits and the opportunity for substantial over-time hours. The primary responsibility is to operate trucks, deliver fertilizer and chemicals and assist with plant operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate fertilizer truck, fill application equipment, and support plant operations as needed.
• May assist with recordkeeping related to warehouse/inventory responsibilities.
• Maintain and keep trucks clean.
• Performs varied responsibilities such as: equipment and plant maintenance including welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping responsibilities
• Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers
• Miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects, attending training sessions, etc.

Typical EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Relevant Experience

• One plus years related experience
• Proficiency with smart devices and ELD's (Electronic Log Device) is highly preferred
• Knowledge of basic farm equipment and operation
• Ability to do a variety of tasks in succession, i.e., driving a forklift, loading a truck, and driving the truck to a farm

Required Certifications

• Must hold and maintain a Class B CDL and appropriate driving record
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job
