SUMMARY
Responsible to operate a high-speed metal stamping press or perform secondary operations in a safe, timely and accurate manner to produce parts consistent with production and quality needs and requirements, as laid out by the Production Supervisor. Please note this is a temp to hire, full time position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Receives Pre-Job Brief and job assignment and verifies information to ensure the contents are correct (latest drawing revision level, part identified in the Shop Traveler, material to be used, etc.). Resolves any information that is incorrect before proceeding. Follows all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (“SOPs”).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Education -- High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience -- No experience required; however, must be able to meet knowledge and competency requirements below.
Technology – Basic computer skills, including use and navigation of internet/intranet. Ability to learn basic use of Microsoft Office products. Ability to understand and apply appropriate usage of technology in a work environment including virus prevention. Ability to learn other technology related skills, as needed, to perform the essential functions of the position.
